What a Blessing - It was an honor to be invited to attend a truly special 40th
Wedding Anniversary Party for John (Big John) & Sherry (The Shiz)
Graves. John & Sherry we could all
learn so much about devotion to our partners from the two of you. A very special and warm Happy Anniversary
goes out to you both.
What is marriage anyway?
Well marriage is the union of two souls becoming as one. It is our promise to each other as husband
and wife to be here for each other through all trials, tribulations, good times
and bad. John & Sherry have
certainly been there for each other, their children, grandchildren, and family. They are a true inspiration to all of us that
have the pleasure of being their family & friends. They are completely committed & devoted
to each other and it shows to all of those around them.
It’s not every day that you get the opportunity to be
friends with people who have been together for 40 years and were high school
sweethearts. I hope that the rest of their
lives together are filled with as much love, devotion, commitment, joy and
peace that they have had the past 40 years.
These two special people enjoy some of the same hobbies and as everyone who
knows them knows they are avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle Riders and we love them
both dearly, so glad God brought them and many other into our lives.
John & Sherry have a big family and we had the pleasure
of meeting them, they are as sweet and caring as the both of them. This family is very loving and accepted us
and several others that aren’t family with open loving arms and treated us like
one of their own. The food that was
served was great complete with desert and beverages (and adult beverages).
I wanted to thank Todd and his wife for allowing us to
attend this special day, it was truly a humbling experience and hope that as I
plug along in my own marriage that I can continue to be as happy and in love as
