“JOYOUS RIDE NORTH”

On June 4th after this morning's chapter meeting, 10 of us members decided to ride up to Brandt's Harley Davidson in Wabash, IN, awesome way up, and lots of sun, hot temps and an AWESOME FREE hog roast.  We had a blast! it got really hot after we left Brandt's to go to Bailey's (Lucky’s), it was so HOT that a couple of us Lady Hogs thought we were going to pass out, but we got better thanks to the help of everyone.  Greg Shipley wiggled his behind and got a free “Lucky’s” T-shirt and I did a flip and got one too, at the age of 45 I surprised myself but actually doing it without harming myself.  It was a lot of fun to kick back, relax and enjoy everyone’s company.
Then it was off to River City Harley Davidson, when we got there we all decided to go upstairs in the dealership and cool down and we ended up hung out for quite a while.  I took everyone's picture there except for Jeff's and mine.  We headed out and jumped southbound on 69 to Gas City where we stopped for gas and the guys decided they wanted McDonalds for ice cream.  As we were getting ready to leave, we saw that a storm was brewing and we decided to head out.  Just as we all were mounting our bikes, it decided to start spitting rain, well needless to say when we got going, it did rain a little but it felt GREAT!  Then it quit that was kind of a bummer because it was so HOT!.  The group was able to get 3 more stamps on their State H.O.G. Rally Passports!

Today was a great day and I want to thank everyone for letting us tag along!  You all are great company...feels like family!  Looking forward to many more great rides together with our new found family the Indianapolis H.O.G. Chapter 1!
